Every Miramat comes with two straps for easy roll-up, storage and transportation.

Miramat has been designed for optimal performance on carpets. It is heavy enough to hold the mat down onto the floor and provide a solid foundation even on high-pile carpets. It will not stain your carpet in any way.

We have optimised the bottom surface so that Miramat will not move around when doing workouts on a carpet. But please be aware that not all carpets are the same, and there are unlimited variations in materials, thickness, density and softness. 

Although you will not find a better mat for use on carpets, we cannot guarantee that it will work on all carpets. In the unlikely event that you are not happy with how Miramat performs on your carpet, we will take the mat back for a full refund.

We've found that the regular width of exercise and yoga mats is so narrow that it significantly restricts your movement. Therefore, we decided to more than double the size, so that you can focus on your exercise instead of finding your balance on a narrow strip of mat.

Miramat works great with heavy weights like dumbbells, kettlebells and barbells. However, it has not been designed to have such weights drop onto it from a height.

Your mat may have some oil residues from the production on its surface when you first receive it. To unlock the grip of the mat, you need to do a thorough pre-clean before first use.

Here are the steps we recommend:

1. Put some mild dishwashing liquid on a damp towel.

2. Rub across your mat's surface until small bubbles start forming.

3. Rinse towel.

4. Wring towel.

5. Use towel to wipe soap residues off the mat.

6. Let your mat dry completely before using.

The top surface has micro-ribs for maximum friction for the person. This is the surface you exercise on.

The dotted underside is specially designed to prevent Miramat from sliding on any floor surface.

Yes, absolutely. Miramat will protect your floor and provide extra support and padding for any of your equipment.

Miramat only comes in black.

Miramat is inherently odourless.

However, due to being sealed in plastic during storage and transit, a slight odour may be noticeable by some customers upon first opening the mat. This is normal and will fade on its own.
